West Loop Apartment Rentals
The West Loop is just outside of downtown, but is still a thriving part of the city. The United Center which is home to the Bulls and Blackhawks resides in the West Loop along with Union Park, host of the annual Pitchfork Music Festival and Oprah Winfrey's Harpo studios. The West Loop is full of outdoor meat and produce markets and the famous Maxwell Street Market bazaar. The west side of the neighborhood is inhabited largely by artists, while the riverfront houses corporate workers. The West Loop is full of buildings that have been converted to lofts and art galleries are popping up next to the old meat packing plants. There is plenty of entertainment in the West Loop in the form of dance clubs, bars, and restaurants. Public transportation is abundant with Union Station, the Green and Blue El lines, the Northwestern Train Station, and many buses.
