Ukrainian Village - East Village Apartment Rentals
The Ukrainian Village is named for its Eastern European residents who once called the neighborhood home. While the Ukrainian influence isn't as strong as it once was, there are still plenty of remaining restaurants and shops and the architecture retains its European charm. More recently, the neighborhood has become trendier with its boutiques, restaurants, art galleries, and nightlife, but still retains its charm with diners and corner bars. The neighborhood is beautiful in summer with its many gardens. The Ukrainian Village and Wicker Park are part of the northwest area of the city known as West Town. Public transportation is abundant with the Metra, Blue El line, and buses all making stops here.
