Named for the 100+ year-old parish at its center, St. Ben’s is a family-oriented neighborhood that offers residential streets and a variety of cuisine within its scenic borders. Instead of big box stores and chain eateries, you’ll find a number of independent neighborhood haunts. St. Ben’s west edge is devoted to city parks. Horner Park is one of the North Side's largest and is home to multiple football, soccer, basketball, softball and tennis facilities. It also offers a variety of ongoing classes and activities where adults and kids can hone skills in everything from woodworking to piano to acting. Every year, St. Ben’s residents pull out all the stops for BenFest, a two-day block party that is heavy on the family fun.
