Hyde Park Apartment Rentals

Hyde Park is home to many of the city's artists and intellectuals. Located about 7 mi. from the Loop, the neighborhood is home to The University of Chicago, the Museum of Science and Industry and Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House; serving as neighbors to residents of Hyde Park apartments. The even numbered streets in Hyde Park (e.g., 52nd, 54th, etc.) are almost exclusively residential with a variety of options for Hyde Park apartment rentals. 51st, 53rd, 55th, and 57th Streets and Lake Park Avenue to the west of the Metra tracks host the vast majority of the businesses. The famous 53rd Street strip offers numerous diverse shopping and dining options amidst the apartment buildings, town-homes, and single-family homes.

Located on the lake, Promontory Point near some Hyde Park apartments is a popular spot for sightseeing as well as for swimmers, dog-owners, and picnickers. This diverse neighborhood was once home to Muhammad Ali, Marshall Field, U.S. Senator Carol Mosely-Braun, and President Obama. Today it is considered a secure and stable neighborhood, with a rich cultural life and many benefits to offer the students, families and singles that make their home among Hyde Park apartment rentals. A short walk from the Green line, Hyde Park is very easily accessible by a plethora of bus lines.
